Visual Architect — New York & México City
Beauty that makes sense.
I take brands, collections and tangled information and give them shape — identities, films and digital experiences that look beautiful and read at a glance.
01 My own business Art direction
Studio Binat
An editorial storefront for handmade Mexican ceramics — designed to feel like a gallery, not a shop.

Studio Binat is the design studio I founded and run between New York and México City. We work with master artisans — starting with Maestro Artesano Pedro Hernández and his family in Michoacán — to create limited-edition ceramics in barro vidriado.
I shaped every part of it: the identity, the art direction, the words in two languages and the digital experience. It opens on a cinematic logo film, moves at the pace of a printed catalogue, and gives every piece its own editorial page — gallery, film and story, with checkout a tap away. A short documentary introduces the artisans behind the work.
What I did
- Brand identity & art direction
- Bilingual storytelling, English & Spanish
- Website & experience design
- Editorial layouts that present each piece like a gallery work
- Film editing — intro film & artisan documentary
- Typography & motion

02 My own business Pre-launch site Día de Muertos activation
Verdi Blooms
A flower kiosk for Verdi Square on the Upper West Side — introduced on screen and on the street before the doors open.

Verdi Blooms is my second venture: a neighbourhood flower kiosk, inspired by the flower stands of México City, coming to Verdi Square, the historic plaza at 72nd and Broadway. Before a single stem is sold, it already has a name, an identity and an audience.
The site opens on a storyboarded film. Cempasúchil — the marigolds that light the spirits' way home on Día de Muertos — drift across the screen, find the kiosk that has stood empty for years, and bring it back to life until the whole square is in bloom. Then it settles into a calm, single-purpose page: get on the list, or say hello.
This is the pre-launch version of the site, designed to work hand in hand with our Día de Muertos activation of the kiosk on Verdi Square. The film tells the story online; the activation brings it onto the street — so the neighbourhood meets Verdi Blooms in person and finds the same world waiting on their phones.
What I did
- Naming, logo & visual identity
- Concept & creative direction of the Día de Muertos activation
- Storyboard & art direction of the intro film
- Colour, typography & tone of voice
- Launch page experience design
- Mobile-first motion design

03 Information design Members only
Lugano Supperclub
Years of a group chat's best travel tips, turned into a private guide to the world.

A community of TASIS alumni and friends had been trading recommendations in a WhatsApp group for years — the restaurant in Lisbon, the hotel in Kyoto, the winery in the Langhe. All of it was buried in scroll.
I distilled the entire conversation into a guide: every recommendation organised by region, city and category, each one credited to the person who vouched for it, all wrapped in a playful identity of its own. Members sign in, like places, leave comments and send new tips — years of scattered messages, now a guide you can browse in seconds.
What I did
- Editorial distillation of years of chat into structured content
- Information architecture — region, city, category
- Brand identity, iconography & interface design
- Member experience: sign-in, likes, comments & submissions
- Creative direction from concept to launch

04 Information design Confidential
Estrategia Pública
Hundreds of documents, made legible — a private intelligence workspace for a public-affairs consultancy.

Client work is confidential, so only the entry screen is shown here.
Estrategia Pública Consultores advises companies on high-stakes government and infrastructure matters in Mexico. Their knowledge lived in inboxes, PDFs and WhatsApp threads — hundreds of documents per case.
I turned it into a single source of truth: every case reconstructed from email and chat into a file you can actually read, with day-by-day chronologies, a full document library and search across every case at once. An AI assistant answers questions from the firm's own record, and each team member sees their own view — sensitive material reserved by role.
What I did
- Information architecture for multi-client case files
- Editorial design of chronologies & briefings
- A calm visual system for long, complex reading
- Concept & direction of the AI assistant
- Experience design for per-person access
What I do
Beauty with a purpose.
I work where aesthetics meet information — shaping how something looks, and how quickly it's understood. One eye across the brand, the imagery, the words and the experience.
Visual identity
Naming, logos, typography and the voice that ties them together.
Art direction & film
Storyboards, intro films and imagery that set the mood before a word is read.
Information design
Turning complex material into layouts, chronologies and guides people actually read.
AI-powered production
I direct today's AI tools to take an idea from sketch to live — without losing the craft.
Bilingual storytelling
Words in English and Spanish, crafted for each audience — not run through a translator.
Product presentation
Collections and objects shown like gallery works, not catalogue entries.
Digital experiences
Websites and private platforms, designed and directed from concept to launch.
Creative direction
One vision held across every touchpoint, from first sketch to opening day.
Trained in design. Obsessed with clarity.
I'm Emiliano Galindo, born in México City and trained at Central Saint Martins and Parsons School of Design. Before building my own companies I worked at ProMéxico in New York, helping emerging Mexican designers reach the US market — and built the first full Mexican country pavilion at a New York City design fair across three editions, in partnership with Design Week México.
Today I run Studio Binat and Verdi Blooms, and give brands and ideas the visual world they deserve. My work is making things beautiful — and making sure they're understood the moment you see them.
